The European Association of Software Engineering (EASE) announced that it is actively working on the first documentary on the history of the Ukrainian IT industry called "The First Code".
The film collects first-hand stories: trendsetters in the information technology industry, technology giants and unicorn startups from Ukraine who conquered the global IT center, Silicon Valley.
EASE President Vladyslav Savchenko was an interviewer and a researcher.
According to EASE, the film crew has so far recorded exclusive footage with the creators of the first technologies: EPAM, ELEKS, 3DLook, Looksery, Techiia holding.
Ahead is another filming season, a private screening in the United States, in Silicon Valley, talks with Netflix on the placement of content for the American audience and production.
The premiere of the documentary is scheduled for September 2022.
